Currently I only own the alien 3 dog maquette and have the NTT Bruce and Jason PF on order. Ideally I plan on building shelves or finding some that are customizable so that I can essentially have cut outs in my DVD/BD collection that will house my various pieces (I'll make more spaces when I buy more).
While I feel that statues look so much better when properly lit I'm concerned about putting direct light on them and either damaging them or their paint. I don't know much about the materials used on these other than the basics but I would assume they are fairly easy to mess up.
I've read that LED lighting is the best to use because it'll stay the coolest, is this correct? Are there any issues I should still be concerned with?
