By The Sword: Ordered items that were in stock. Received phone call from sales rep 4 days later saying that the items were backordered and that they do not know when product will arrive. Charge card was already billed. Told them to cancel the order. NEGATIVE rating. :(

The only place I was able to find a 1/6th scale "FvJ" Jason Voorhees for retail price. At first I thought you placed a preorder and then much later cancelled because they didn't get enough from the distributor.

Now I see it was one freaking day after you ordered! You weren't satisfied with NEXT DAY NOTIFICATION?

At worst they're guilty of getting your hopes up and nothing more. Get over it. They did nothing wrong and next day notification IS VERY GOOD.

I think adequate payback for your immaturity and bad karma is for you to be stuck with your SW figs for a while.

ive only ordered from BBTS and corner store, i prefer corner store. BBTS tends to package more tightly (box fits the product) so if the box gets smashed the chances increase of the product being smashed. corner tends to ship with bigger boxes with more filling and protection inside.

yea I dont get the people who pack it snug, like you said, box fits the product. I got my HT dark knight original from Toy2 and the box was exactly big enough to fit the figure box, and I received it crushed, one corner of the figure box was completely damaged.

I would advise against Best Comics out of NY. Tommy is cool and everything, but they have a 20% cancelation fee and they don't communicate very well. I've had a few things come in and ship with no notice what so ever and I had forgoten about it all because I hadn't heard from the guy since June, even though some stuff was supposed to come in July. And they just shipped this week.

And because I don't want to eat the fees, I had to accept some stuff. So I will have a few Bowen FBs for sale in the near future. The Thor and Spidey I think. Maybe DD too.

Like I said, a cool company, but they are mainly a B&M store and their CS for Internet is kinda lacking.
