3000 for Q...3000 for Zao...only 4500 for Halle Berry, who will appeal to some non-Bond fans too...does this mean the original average sizes for Bond product (between 5000 and 15000) were too large? Is 3000 to 5000 consumers the extent of the line's appeal?

It's a funny thing, some people prefer to know that more people in the world enjoy the same products they do, and other people prefer really limited editions.
Generally, the Bond edition sizes are "just right" - and the edition size is decided on a per figure basis. Many of the Bond figures have sold out, many are close to selling out, and we're not overproducing any of the upcoming Bond figures. It's a good time to be a Bond fan - new fans of the property may have a hard time finding the figures in years to come, but they most certainly won't be finding them in discount bins...

thanks Brant. On the whole I prefer more people in the world to enjoy the same product I do - I'm not into 'limited edition' collecting, I'm into collecting a product I like 'cause it's great!
However, not overproducing figures will hopefully make the future of the line as a whole more secure - and this is a line I want to collect for years to come.
