Kill them.

Just kidding. For the fans (rather "investors") still fuming over the new item edition sizes, why not create special Sideshow exclusive editions similar to what you do in the 6th scale lines.

Like, for example, the first 500-1,000 statues ordered directly from Sideshow have a different head (Dernhelm w/helmet for example) or possibly come autographed by the actor who portrayed them?

That way, casual collectors who are just interested in the piece can buy the regular version, while the die-hards and dealers can have a limited number piece.

Seems like a fair compromise to me.

That is very good idea.
Also doing more stuff like what they did with the Troll hammer would be great!

Actually that's a pretty good idea. And remember Brant, you didn't hear it here! ;)

They might also make them a little more expensive or have tiered pricing like the Gandalf bronze.

Sounds like someone around here is using their noodle.

Really, it does sound like a great idea!!! Hopefully, we'll see SS use it in the near future.

Please don't do this, Brant. It's different to an exclusive accessory... it's a entirely seperate piece.

Also, as much as people won't admit it, it will simply create a new 'statue to limited' situation.

From what we've heard from Sideshow, I doubt they'll consider it...

I realise some people like the idea, and I respect that, but I personally can not agree at all.

Great idea. Now let's see what happens. *puts on thinking cap*

I LOVE the low numbered editions, but with the fan base growing the way it has been, I don't think there are going to be as many low editions as there were in the past. I definatly don't think it will go below 1000 again, unless it's an exclusive for newsletter members(there is a thought!).
