How come the members list currently only shows 889 members? :confused:

Hadn't noticed that. I was going by the stats on the frontpage. I believe that the memberlist may only show those members that have posted at least once. Or perhaps the 'stats' includes banned members as well.

We can celebrate again when the memberslist page shows 900! :fireworks

Nice going! I'm glad I'm a member. Not to sound stupid, but how did you get Sideshow Freaks started.

How did Freaks get started? I was a fan of the products and started a yahoo newsgroup back when Buffy and Bond was announced as 1/6 lines. I was disappointed that most 1/6 boards were focused more on military stuff and the licensed items didn't get the attention they deserved.

A post on Toy Maniac about why Sideshow didn't have a board when other companies such as Palisades, etc. did prompted me to email SSC and offer to run one for them. They weren't interested in a company board but told me to feel free to create one on my own and they might drop in from time to time. The rest is history.
