Do you really think that those petitions really work? And why the 999 number? Did Disney say, "well, if they get 999, THEN we'll listen"???

They are making a new movie, and the Hatbox Ghost is going to be featured prominently. That means he will be added into the ride for sure. Tony Baxter was even pulling for him before the movie announcement. He will be added into the ride, we just have to wait a bit. No need for petitions anymore.

I agree--with him as the main character in the new movie, we're going to see him featured in the ride. It's only a matter of time.

Like EO said, I think Hatbox being a huge character in the movie, as well as them surely having the ability to fix the issues with him (which is why he was removed in the first place), means it's even odds we'll see him in the attraction.
