I would like to know how is possible to find items for sale ready to ship from vendors on line before the item has started being shipped from Sideshow.

Can you give an example and where you saw it?

I've ordered directly from Sideshow several times and I often get the figure before I see it listed on top of the sideshowtoy.com websited in their "items now being shipped" listing, if that's what you mean. I think it's just that someone isn't updating the "items now being shipped" listing for a few days or a week after the items ship. Not that people are getting them through some back channel.

I think the question pertains to non-Sideshow dealers getting items for sale before Sideshow starts shipping them. I've never seen this happen so I was curious what item and what dealer were involved.

maybe it's just a case of a vendor getting their shipment before the top of the sideshow page shows that they're being shipped. I would expect that's probably what he's talking about, and he didn't know that sometimes Sideshow starts shipping, but doesn't update that thing on their front page to show that the items have started going out the door.
