Question for Brant, (or anyone else who can answer), there's been a reasonable amount of the American Civil War figures issued last year (2003) and this year, which to me is great. However, will we see more Six Gun Legends in 2004-2005? I'm not looking for a 'who', but a simple yes or no, and when, will suffice. I like surprises. Keep up the fine work, and your endgate.
Thanks, dj

When this series first came out I was under the impression that Series 1 would be Billy & Wyatt, Series 2 Custer & Crazy Horse and Series 3 would be Doc Holiday & Johnny Ringo.
I remarked about this elsewhere and received no confirmation that this was Sideshows intention or just in my imagination. Sorry I couldn't tell you something specific. I know you said you weren't looking for "who", but speculation is all I've got. At least you know someone is reading this, lol.
With the toy fair and all the Weta product, old Johnny might still be on the cards, It's been quite busy lately with all the new lines coming out, hey. Keep your fingers crossed I guess, I am.

Creecher shows up, and suddenly the island seemed larger, brighter and I wanted to cha cha cha, but...
Johnny Ringo perhaps, eh? Good choice, but I think Pat Garrett would of fit with Billy The Kid, and Doc would of had Wyatt; just a little more historically accurate, But John Ringo (and 'Curly Bill' Brocius would be a better team, IMHO) would certainly be welcomed. There's just so many choices to be had...what a problem, huh? LOL!
Thanks for the info and for stoppin' by Creecher - say, you wouldn't happen to have a Fosters or two on ya' now would ye lad?

"whew! sure been lonely here, then one day..."
That's how it happens I guess. You can return the favour by voting in a crappy poll I posted, that nobody seems interested in, ;) so I know how you feel. :thud
Your 6 guns suggestion seems quite logical to me. I'd be interested in all those figures. I don't know where I got my information, word of mouth I think. Rumour rumour rumour:lurk
There are so many figures to be had and I still haven't got round to purchasing Custer and Crazy Horse yet. They are listed here as, In Stock, so if I can save the bikkies I will get them. Their costumes are superb. Speaking of costumes, I'm still waiting for my dealer to pick up Doc Holiday from the distributors. Apart from Blackbeard, which hasn't arrived yet, his costumes looks outstanding. I don't mind waiting as long as I get them in the end. Is there an art to collecting? The art of patience I guess.
I used to drink Fosters, but Vic Bitter is by far the most popular. I had to give it up, the dolls, you know. I, now, have to drink the cheapest I can find. That being, Tooheys Red or Haan Ice in the "Block" pack of 30. I'm quite prepared to share :toast

Its ok bro I got some replies Wasn't really that worried;)
There's a section on this forum where you can, vote on, and make up polls, to get other peoples opinions. Look in the "discussion" area. Some are quite amusing.
I see that your name is in black lettering. That means you are not yet a member. Too bad, as lately, some other members have put up prizes eg: Weta statues/Buffy figure, but you would need to be a member to enter, and you have to peruse the threads/postings to find them. I've seen a number of your previous postings. The more the merrier. Things have slowed down lately in the 1/6 scale area, need some new figures to get the tongues wagging, but are always hot in the Weta area. Those statue collectors crap on about any and everything. Its cool.
OK Double J I'll no doubt see you around, and thanks for caring. Get down. :rock

Not to worry creecher-found it and voted.
I'm not one for busts; like the 12" a-figs the best. The busts probably have a better resale value, but I collect for the enjoyment, not the investment. Much simpler that way. Then, if something I own goes up in price, great. If not, fine. Trying to speculate on these things will only make you crazy, and, take away the fun of collecting. I say, collect what you like and enjoy the most looking at in your displays and dioramas. I'm gathering by all the sci-fi, fantasy enthusiasts (a polite term for 'nuts'), I'm one of the 'elders' (50 years old, going on 25...) on board this ship. It's amazing the kind of detail found on these figures compared to the G.I. Joes, et al, of the '60's. While I own something in just about every catagory Sideshow and others offer, the 19th century, from Napoleon up to WWII remain my favorite eras to collect from. Blackbeard, The Australian Lighthorseman, all of Six Gun Legend, Barbwire & Bayonets and The American Civil War series are pretty impressive stuff, as well as The James Bond, SSE of Universal Monsters, LOTR 12" figures and the rest of the horror/sci-fi/fantasy series. I mean, Holy Hallucinagens Batman, it's ALL pretty cool stuff...
'nuff said for now-
Keep your endgate up, and remember:

Yeah, I don't own any statues, can't afford them. Have too many figures I want. I'm 47 myself. I'm a bit the opposite to you, as in I don't go for the military stuff. Only because I try to collect all the figures in a series, and there are just too many soldiers.
I tend to go for the aliens and monsters mostly, but do have an assortment of figure lines. I tried just getting figures that were on special, but soon became addicted and put my order in as they become available now. Sideshows ability to capture a likeness is just way too cool. Now I get sucked in by the costuming more than anything. Like Doc Holiday or Blackbeard, it blows me away. The Creature from the Black Lagoon's skin, what a committed effort that is. The Fife and Drum series is looking spectacular as well. Sideshow are really forging ahead in a big way, I'm sure you'll agree. What will they come up with next. "The suspense is killing me. I hope it doesn't stop, soon".
Catch you later.
