Shrunken Freddy VS Jason Jason?

At Action-Figure.com there is a review of the new, and unreleased to the public, Freddy VS Jason figures. And Jason is only 13" (the same height as the previous Jason). Are all of the Jason going to be like this or did this guy just get a dwarfed Jason? If so, WHY the change? He was still 14" at Toyfare.

I'm in no way connected with Sideshow but perhaps I can be of assistance. Ken Kirzinger, the man who played Jason Voorhees in FvsJ stands 6'6" tall. A 1/6 scale figure of him in character would therefore stand 13 inches tall. If the prototype was indeed 14", it was most likely changed to reflect true scale.

Hmmm... you may be right, but Christopher Lee, who play Scaramanga (the man with the golden gun) in the Bond films, was around the same height and was made into only a 12" figure. I wish Sideshow would be more consistant with the height of the figures to the actors.

At least Jaws was a 14" figure. I would have gone nuts if he wasn't.

I guess Jason won't look like he hit his growth spert next to his other counterparts of himself.

My Kanamit is 13 & 1/2 inches, and he has a huge head. I would have thought having a scon that big would have made a 14 inch figure 15 inches.

Nope. I just got mine (well my brother's B-day present) and I placed my Jaws on top of Jason (still in the box) and they were the same size!
