Hot Toys - IRON MAN 1/6th MARK III (Battle Damaged)

Finally picked up my BD IM from my local comic shop. This is my first Hot Toys figure and I'm so sure this won't be the last. Pictures can't really describe how awesome this toy is. One thing though the second I took out the main figure from its packaging the right shoulder armor plate just pops off, at first ok i'll just tab it back in but nope upon further inspection i saw remnants of glue so a quick fix with super glue I glued the tabs to the plastic with 2 small holes that holds the spring and good as new.

It's definitely well worth the wait, but the sooner you get this guy, the better. Pics really don't capture how awesome he is once you have him in-hand.

I think his mod may have 1/16"-1/8" on me by removing parts of the ball joint..

I've been doing up the original Mark 3. Weathering it with soot like the Kotobukiya that also helps camouflage the off colour waist.

Just got my Ex and I gotta tell ya, I am blown Away with the engineering and detail of this thing. Just took an initial inspection but NO pics can do this figure justice when you have it in hand. It's a stunner, gorgeous paint that changes looks in different light...

I don't know what more one can ask for a great Miniature Museum Quality Representation of the IM1 Movie Character.

This will be THE ONE I think. It is ridiculously versatile and I always loved the Golmera, Jet Flight and Final Battle scenes the best and you can do all that with this. The base rocks too.

What a Sick piece of work this is. Can't even imagine anyone doing something like this three years ago. Oh, and the crushed helmet has it's own slot and it isn't cheap looking, it feels like the normal helmet. Maybe they upgraded it.

I have to say, I much prefer this version to the original. The first figure is badass... but HT really outdid themselves on the BD version.
