I know that there is an older thread about this line that hasn't been visited in a while. However, I think the work that Amanda Connor is doing makes revisting this line a must. I know the Hughes line of women is iconic, but Connor's interpretation has a great look and feel that has me excited about these again. I have the Hippolyta and the Batgirl and they are tremendous

Not a fan of half legs. They all look like Shadowcat to me.

From reading comic books it doesn't matter if they get cut in the half leg, I am used to comic paneling.

These all go for $20-$30 a while after release, so I've never been concerned about the size/MSRP of these. I'm rather enjoying the Conner line so far, even if I only want about half of them.

Dr_Teng I have found that they are so much better when you have them in hand rather than looking online. I was on the fence about Power Girl but after seeing the Star Sapphire I thought it needed a similar silly base to match. love the semi-3D effect, kinda like the Wonder Woman opening credits

I think after seeing the new Harley Quinn bust that Amanda's stuff is taking a lead on my favourite pieces. The Batgirl is so ridiculously amazing you have to just stop and admire it. Jumped right to the top of my favs

Yep it certainly is. I know you always hear people say the photos don't do them justice but it's true for these. The Hippolyta and the Batgirl bust from Amanda is just amazing in person.

I really wanted the Raven bust to be amazing but the one I got is plagued by the sloppiest paint job I have seen on these in a while. Big mess especially the separation between her thigh and dress. Goddamn awful. Such a shame since the batgirl and hippolyta where so on the money.

Well as crappy as the Raven bust was, they have redeemed themselves with the Poison Ivy Bust!! it is Spectacular, the only problem you'll have with this is which angle to display it. BooYah!!! Now i am psyched for the Star Sapphire!

They are a bit bigger. They make the barda bust look normal sized.

I suspected so but thanks for the confirmation. The truth is that it seems not many people in the forums (here or at SF) are collecting these busts. At least the Amanda ones.

Nice pics I myself have started to collect this series. I was on the fence for Amanda's run, but I caved in and waiting for Ivy to come in. Thanks to Snoopy for telling me about DCBS a long time ago. Got her for 40 myself. I do say this at the moment Supergirl and Zatanna are awful looking from the face. I still got to finish the Terry Dodson line and Hughes line is to expense for me to even try to collect.

El Santos if you don't have the Hippolyta from Connors run (series 3) you have to get it, quite simply the best of the lot. Wasn't a big fan of the Dodson run, I think I have Wonder Woman, Phantom Lady, and Vixen. Now I am waiting to get Star Sapphire and Harley Quinn in this series. Good Luck with the hunt

If I do get Raven. I'm thinking about repainting her if she comes out bad. I haven't done a paint job on a statue or bust, but I do think I got the skills to do. Plus I think I seen one at my LCS without a eye. So, I can't do any worse then DC Direct when it comes to her

I am getting the ame-comi version of her. i think it's cool and totally goth. and yes I was planning on doing a re-paint on the Raven, it really is bad, plus the cape is some kinda plastic.

As soon as I start working on a GK and see how that comes out. If I like my work then I will fix Ivy. Anyway 1 that does bother me. For the time being I just stay with painting cars. I'm waiting on Harley and Star Sapphire.

This maybe out of theme, but I'm working on a Iron Man theme for my Eclipse and thinking about putting the Heroic Age IM on my hood. Where would be a great place to post them at? It's going to take about 3-4 months because I will be raising the money and would have to wait on shop class. Red is a very expensive color specially the red I'm getting a gallon is 550$. I would have to check on the gold later.

I need to check if Arisia is still coming out and hope to get some news if this line will still continue at comic-con. I was thinking if they did a Bleez she should be holding Kyle's mask. In issue 8 she seem to take a liking to him, and then again I could have missed understood it. I'm going to put my blue ring on for this line. G1 you need to do the same if you don't want to leave that space empty.
