Maybe a little off topic from collectibles, but I remember seeing previews for this during March Madness and it looked really good and I thought I'd share for anyone who may be interested. The trailer looked good enough that it caused me to put in a reminder in my iphone for when it aired, which was apparently 2 days ago, so I guess the first episode already aired.

anyway, I have the DVR set now. this looks to be good. 12 hours of stories about the making of America.

Looks to be a great piece. I don't know that six episodes will be enough. I set my DVR, not sure I want to wait for Blu...

The information is pretty grade school...and way too glossed over. Handling the colonies and then the Revolution in 2 hours doesn't leave much room for information.

However the reenactment footage and the neat special effects makes it watchable.

have to agree with this. this is supposed to be the story of us but there is nothing that anyone here wouldn't already know.
