I don't get what you mean by "visible line in the neck". It is certainly there but not visible at all.

Both heads look really nice although I really liked the EX the most. At least that is the one I had on display for the longest tiime.

I sold it a couple of months ago, it was just a space eater. I still miss him :(

Thank you all! :) What I meant was the difference between the regular edition and the Exclusive. From what I heard, the Reg. is one solid piece, so I wouldn't expect a line, where the head/neck begins. Since the Ex comes with two heads, I thought there must be a noticable line.

My confusion came from a picture like that:

But now that I saw some video reviews of the statue, I know that there isn't a seamless transitition between the neck and the rest of the body (that's what I thought, looking at the picture). The neck is supposed to be a little "deeper" because of the pose (hard to describe, but I hope you know, what I mean).

In this case, I think there isn't a difference between the Reg. and the Excl. with the regular head.

To make a long story short: The question has been answered, the riddle has been solved - thanks! :D

Good question. If I remember right the art is the same, but it's been so long I can't remember (I had the EX Thing and decided to return Modern Thing, since I thought 2 of them was one too many).

Something about the relative simplicity of the design is appealing, combined with the 'heft'. Same could be said for the Hulk, but I just can't afford him yet.

My First Mod!
I'm not in the habit of modifying any of my statues but...since I've had the Thing PF I have been on the look out for something that would make a cool FF4 belt buckle. I can't believe he didn't come with a belt buckle. :slap

Anyway...I wanted more then just a sticker...it needed to have some thickness and be hard... basically it needed to look like something Sideshow would have done.

Well I came up with it....finnally. Not gonna believe it, but I used SHRINKY DINKS printer paper. My son got some shrinky dinks for Christmas and he and his mom were making some of these things the other day and it hit me...if I could print the FF4 symbol on my printer on to Shriky Dink paper and shrink it down it becomes about the thickness of a penny and hard like polystone.

Long story short, it turned out exactly how I
wanted, :yess: so I thought I would post a couple pics of my Thing PF with his new belt buckle.

Sorry to hear that but your chances are zero. You might be able to get a partial refund on this. I have a feeling that all these recently "found" statues are previous damaged returns.

I got a regular for less than SSC's original price back in November. It's an awsome statue. I don't even need all of the FF, I just hope they make a 1/4 Human Torch comiquette to display with it. Make a Dr. Doom 1/4 in some kind of standing pose to face off against, and that's epic.

The Sue Storm statue was from a different line, called WOMEN OF MARVEL, in 1/5 scale, which I think is dead already.
