Well, I usually feel like the anticipated wait for the New York Toy Fair is well worth it. However, This year didn't do much for me, from a militay and historical point of view. There has been no more Live by the Sword figures in a long time. The Civil war line has countless figures that could be examined. Sailors from both sides, 54th Mass. (African American) , Artillery men, ect..
I've spoke with Tom G. several years ago and He was really stoked for the military lines as well as the historical lines. He s a really nice guy and I guess the new lines such as LOTR, Star Wars,AVP and others is the big money makers for Side Show. I guess theres' next year.

I dunno. I am happy to have recently aquired the new Custer and am looking forward to Washington and the new Red Baron arriving in the near future.

Next year? I think you mean maybe next week or month, good thing about Sideshow they release a lot of stuff through out the year instead of all at one time.

I wasn't too happy about the one or two military figures per year, but at least it was something. I agree that there is still plenty of Civil War, WWI, and Fife and Drum figures to make.

I second Brent's message. I am crazy disappointed with toyfair military/ historic previews. I truely hope this is not all that's left for those of us who collect military for the year. Rambo! Give me a break. A dopey comic book hero at best. I'm sorry but, am I the only mortal that howled out loud when Rambo came out. I saw it at my brother's house on VHS and truely laughed myself silly when I watched it. Yes, and confess am the only one who was laughing. Gees I waited with great anticipation for something to cling to for militarty/historic. Nothing! Can anyone say Washington. What a great figure. Couldn't SSC have done a british counterpart. Cumon sideshow let's not forget us. Yeah, I know your starwars and the like are popular but, you did afterall set the bar for historic figures.

I would like SS to do an Albert Einstein to add the famous persons line.
