I think they are doing that new "VIP" body for regular release. Not too sure though.

That is what I heard, but nothing confirmed though.
I'd wait rather than pay ebay's ridiculous price.
Hot Toys makes Truetypes in waves. The last wave is indeed long gone and a new wave should be announced anytime now I'd think. The cheapest way to get a narrow body now is to find a place that parts out full figures and get the body from the parted out figure.
