With out this man's talent some my favorite movies would be a little less great.
Bruce the shark wouldnt be as menacing, Indy wouldnt be heroic, Superman wouldnt fly as high and the Empire wouldnt be as cool without that march.
I think Ive spent more time listening to your soundtracks then I have watching the actual movies.

Thanks John

My favorite composer of all time. I see him live every year at the Hollywood Bowl and it's amazing every year.

Greatest movie theme of all time.

Whew... when I saw his name in the title I thought maybe he'd died :lol

Have to agree with everyone else here; he is a major contributor to some of my all time favorites :rock

You know what makes the theme more wonderous is the prelude that plays while the kid is
reading from the comic book and its in B&W and the panel of the Daily Planet becomes real.
Then the camera pans upward towards the stars and then the more famous part of the theme cues in.
Its never included in the live orchestral versions that Williams himself does nor is it on the Soundtrack from 1978,
but I think its on a newer version.
So magical.

Found it!

I thought the same thing! Whew!

I love his work, but I think he went through a little bit of a dry spell in the nineties. But his recent work has been magnificent! I absolutely love the War of the Worlds soundtrack, and Prisoner of Azkaban, Minority Report, KOTCS, etc. Absolutely great, on par with his 70s stuff which I consider his best.

Jumping on the wagon that I feared his death. He's getting up there in age. He's one of those rare, incredible talents that I hope graces our presence for long time.

:bow:bow:bow

Better than SW

Greatest movie theme of all time.

Haha, it's already been said but I thought he was dead as well when I saw his name. Glad it was his birthday! :rock :rock:chew

His stuff lately has been terrible...but he is one of the best. Always will be.

IMO Raiders is his best score.
