I've seen quite some episodes of that show and I always enjoyed it!

I've never seen this Anime and I hate M. Night....so I don't have much hope for this film......BUT.... I think i would go see it just for the graphics.

Looks great can't wait to see it!

Why do you hate M. Night? Not all of his movies are crap. The Village (yes that's right, I said The Village ), Sixth Sense and Unbreakable are pretty awesome!!

Finally, the REAL Avatar!!!!

M. Night's Sixth Sense is a classic. Unbreakable was great. And everything after that was barely watchable. The Village? Good God man, it's a mediocre Twilight Zone episode stretched out to almost 2hours. Signs, The Village, The Happening, Lady in the Water...ugh.

Somewhere along the line, M. Night started believing all his own hype and thought he was so amazing that he could just do it all on every flick - write, produce, direct, even act. Sadly, only a very few people in the history of film have pulled that off successfully. You need other key members to be able to tell you "You know, that's a really stupid idea". Without them you get, well, The Happening.

I'm not holding out any real hope for Airbender. Once again, M. Night is producer, director and writer, although at least this time he's adapting an existing story so maybe he won't completely screw it up.

But you really should pick up this show on DVD - it's one of the best animated kid's shows created in the 20 years. And just in case you're wondering, it's an American cartoon, not Japanese.

Couldn't agree more! This show is an instant classic and rivals most any animated show done in a long time, and even most live action stuff!

It's interesting the trailer said "begins his journey"... I wonder if the movie is only going to cover book 1 in hopes of doing sequels???

This commercial reinforces the feeling that all the humor, character pieces and fun of the show will be missing in the movie. And they're why I love the show.

I dont think so! i think they are only showing the Badass stuff to get people pumped!!! i mean!!! Avatar with out Sokka being him self!!! WE NEED Sokka and his stupid jokes!

One of my favourite cartoons ever. I love the relationship of the characters and their comedy. Buy all the dvd's. worth every cent.

Airbender is gonna rule

I hope the martial arts is good. The CG looks good already.

I hope M Night does it justice.

The show doesn't lend itself well to a movie, so I think they were never going to be able to do it justice. There's simply too much character development over the course of the three 'books' that won't translate to a couple hours. Even if they only focus on book 1, there's no way they can create the same feelings in a single flick.
