Visit Jye while you're there!!!
that's a good idea!!!!i was thinking of visiting sideshow,but it's a bit far from us,right??
I'm sure there are many who are much more familiar with NYC than I, but some of my favorite places are hole-in-the-wall type establishments. There is excellent eating all over the city, although I'm partial to some of Chinatown's eateries.
When I was there back in 2008 we stayed at the Grand Hyatt, right next to Grand Central Station. It was about a 5-10 min walk to Times Square.
Check out:
Carnegie Deli
Katz's Deli
Tao (Resturant)
Brazilian resturant (can't remember which one)
Take the Staten Island ferry (free) over to Staten Island, on the way you will get a decent view of the Statue of Liberty.
We hung out alot on Times Square (never got enough of the lights) We were all too old to go clubbing
I would also recommend taking a bus tour of Manhattan too, very fun.
Enjoy! Its the coolest city i've ever been to.
