Custom Joker Tie

Ok look. This project has felt like a curse since it started. Obviously nothing I say at this point is going to make a difference. I hate and have always hated shipping things internationally esp when it comes to small letter sized options when they say you don't need a customs form and such. The funny thing is with all the messages I get comparing this situation to past rip off people and such, I hardly think it would be worth it for 8 ties. I mean hell $100.00 yep that is a major heist right there. I am just going to refund the people that haven't received theirs at this point. I am trying everything I can do to get caught up at this point and my screw ups or not I am stepping away from this for a while.

Like Tim, I'm not interested in a refund either. If the tie is ready, I look forward to seeing it soon. If it's not ready, just let me know. I'm not in a hurry. Seems like there is always something out on the horizon with this hobby.

It's been a month since my ties were posted and I have not got them - I have NEVER had any issues with anything being sent from the US before so not sure what's gone wrong.

I copy what pennyworth says above because I feel exactly the same:
If the tie is ready, I look forward to seeing it soon. If it's not ready, just let me know. I'm not in a hurry.

Isnt it a little coincidental that all have not received? I can understand the odd international package going astray but all of them, come on! I have never had a problem before shipping or receiving internationally.

I can wait. I don't think my patience can be strained by custom work. Be it paint apps, custom tailored items, it doesn't matter. There's a good person behind this and if something is going on in real life, anything really that could cause stress, I'd get mad if he didn't put it on the backburner. I'd wager life has happened and I won't blame BV or any customizer for putting a custom toy tie behind it. Even having it ready to go, telling people you've shipped them because you made plans to and having something come up, doesn't grind my gears. And to the people who don't have a horse in this race, please be kind and try to STFU :)

I still have hope. Ryan is producing these ties in other scales, it's only a matter of time until he gets to us.....hopefully he's seeing this thread and can update us eventually.

They way I see it, the tie isn't that crucial an element in the grand scheme of the outfit and the DX tie can placehold till the BV tie shows.

He has my $15. If I was in for more money I might be more impatient or ask for a refund, but as said before, I'll just be patient.

I have the same views. I have spoken to Ryan about it and i'm not worried. I'd rather he just take his time to sort the things he needs to sort out

I am going to address this here as well. I thought this had been announced already but I guess not. I have super busy with my real job right now and havent been around that much. I had several conversations with King Grayskull about this since he did such a good job on the socks and had some interest in working on this project. I agreed to trasferr any outstanding orders to him pre-paid for anybody who wanted one and give hime the artwork and so for. He agreed to this and I had sent him a list of all envolved. That way everyone would be taken care of and not cheated. I so he posted he would be in and out for a few days with some family matters so he can comment on this when he can. If anyone does not wish to go this route let me know and I will issues a refund ASAP. No one will be cheated on this deal. I have just lost a huge portion of my spare time and am just trying to complete all outstanding obligations on here. I am on vacation starting next Tuesday so I will finally have som etime to finish somethings again. After that I am finished for a good while till life calms down a bit.

Thanks to everybody envolved and sorry this all got so messed up.

As a little "sorry" BV and I have agreed on giving everyone of the BV list not one but 2 ties if you just need one, sell the other one and you go out of this with no loss... ;)
As far as the timetable goes, I cannot say anything until Monday when we get the final results of the last surgery. I am usually not talking about this online but cancer is really a b**ch. Everyone should really care about the regular checkups. Not really cool to have a finger down there but chemo isnt either - trust me. I have seen it too often the last years.
Anyway, results will be most likely good news and after that normal life will get me back (FINALLY).
And I am happy to help out a fellow freak by taking over this project. :)

I shipped out the the international ties via first class package/letter. I didn't use a customs form on them because I was told I did not need one since it was under 16 oz. I have no way of tracking them. My Post Office here sucks and I hate going there. It wasn't a big deal at the time even though I was frustrated at losing a couple of them. When work and life started getting more hectic, I just couldn't seem to find to time or the drive to get back to my hobby. I really, really wanted too but it just wasn't there. I have learned alot here and I am making it right through either refunds or paying King to take them over. It was not ever my intention to rip anyone off. After I am caught up with the commitments, I am taking a good long break from this hobby to take care of life stuff and my real job. I am sorry to anyone who got upset/hurt durning this ordeal, but I am making things right for everyone envolved.

Sorry man, everythig is pretty busy at the moment. My family got hit quite hard with the whole cancer story first (thanks for all the wishes of all of you). Further economy problem has once again proven that it is global so I have to help my uncle at the moment clearing his shop because of bankruptcy. His pretty down with his wife still not being recovered 100% and losing livework.

Anyway: I still need to work out the details with BV and am confident to be back in about 1-2 weeks. So I will send you a detailed reply by the end of next week. Is that allright with you? :duff
