1/6th Biggs Darklighter

Here are some pictures of a Biggs Darklighter that I have been working on. It is the Hasbro head(from the Biggs/Wedge 2 pack) repainted. My pictures are not the best, sorry. I tried to take some pictures with and without the flash.

Hope you guys like him!! I just need to finish his X-Wing outfit and find a Tomy mini helmet so I can add him to my pilot ranks!!:D

Hey Chaka. Nice to see Biggs get some more attention:D. The repaint is definitely an improvement. If you can get some "life" in the eyes (easy for me to say!) you'll have a winner. I'm using the same head for my Tatooine Biggs and it just doesn't blend. I may have to have a crack at resculpting a HT head, or copying you! Seeing all your pilots in one shot when you're done will be the nuts. Keep 'em coming.

Thanks Darth, I appreciate it. I didnt want to hijack your Biggs thread so I started this one. :D

Eyes are tough. They have a glossy coat to them, but is hard to see in the pics.

All the different skin tones that were added are really what make the difference here. The lips and eyebrows also were redone.

Biggs is going to look just fine amongst Red squadron.

Looking forward to it. Good luck finding that Tomy helmet. They seem to be hard to get here.

I'll have to update the "other" Biggs thread soon. I have better pants (not leather yet) and a perfect cape, then I'll just be left with the head. Maybe if we're both done by Valentine's day, dude person will give us a Valentine/Photoshop present of side by side Biggs's.

the biggs repaint looks great Chris! just finished up on biggs too. i resculpted the neck or actually added a neck since he doesnt really have one. I'll post some pics in the pilots thread soon.

Looks great mate if you do need a eye tutorial here's a head and eye tutorial I did a few years and I still use the same technics today.

Dorgs, I am just finishing Luke and Biggs right now. When they are done I will have Wedge, Biggs, John D., Luke and Red Leader. I think that is all I will do atm. Who knows, I may figure out a way to do a Porkins!:D

Thanks for the tutorial page Ron, great tips there. Eyes are just hard to do in my opinion. Biggs' eyes look much better in person. I do notice with extreme closeups, it seems the eyes look lifeless sometimes.

Wow, that Biggs headsculpt fits right in. Great Hasbro salvage job. I have hope for Tosche Station Biggs!! Is it a straight repaint? Did you do anything to the pornstache?

The group shot is nice. Are you sewing the white part (whatever it is....brainfart) or gluing? It's probably been mentioned, but I'MPoor and IMLazy:D

Thanks Darth. It is just a straight repaint. Once another flesh coat was put on, I re-did the pornstache.:D
