curious to know whats up with the XLarge Kong Production Diaries box? is that an import? why is the box so much bigger than the reg U.S. release?

That's Blacksad, a noirish hard-boiled private eye. There are two excellent graphic novels out by Juan Diaz Canales and Juanjo Guarnido. I highly recommend them.
