I love the games, not so sure about the movie though...

Yeah I mean visually looks great,
and I love all the shots of the Prince jumping around from ledges and walls, but the dialogue seems a little lame...
I will definitely check it out though...

I feel embarrassed having enjoyed the game after watching that.

Usual video game-esque SFX excess? Check
Signs of bad dialogue and lame quips? Check

It does have a bit of that Pirates of the Caribbean vibe though, which probably comes from Bruckheimer's considerable resources.

Not interested based on that commercial, but a good chance it will make sell some tickets, what with all the CG and people jumping around and whatnot.

...I hated the damn game. The original PC crapfest, that is.

You mean that shot in the trailer in which the prince is perched on that tower (and then jumps off)? Yeah, that is soooo straight out of Assassin's Creed. Speaking of which, that is a movie adaptation I'd like to see.

This trailer looked pretty good to me! I think this movie is worth a trip to the theatre
