First Angel 12" figure........WHEN?

With all the Star Wars and LOTR 12" figures being announced I can't help but feel a tad left behind waiting for a new Buffy announcement (c'mon Giles) but more importantly the preview of the first figure in the new Angel line. Any rumors when we'll catch a fleeting glimpse in an early preview?

Dave said it in another thread. Probably not till the Toy Fair. Makes you wonder what else Sideshow has in store. To time things right and flood us with all the recent new stuff, Sideshow have been incredibly busy, and its only just showing now. They are a power house. My head is swimming.

Toy Fair sounds right to me. Previewing the line there will put it more in the spotlight, rather than have it lost among the Stars Wars, LotR, and Marvel announcements.

Look at it this way: Maybe all the hoopla about those other licenses is merely preamble to set the stage for the really big reveal of 2006, the unveiling of the initial Angel figures and the first Buffy PF!

With Aragorn being a 3rd quarter release having already gone up for pre-order, I'd bet an Angel pre-order is just around the corner.

It seems likely to me that an Angel figure will be announced at ToyFair simply for the media attention the show generates. But I don't know that for certain. Maybe we'll see a figure previewed when the newsletter is posted this Thursday night. As we've all learned from recent events, be prepared to expect the unexpected!

And as far as a PF Buffy in concerned, this old man can dream, can't he?

I also think they will wait until ToyFair with their announcement. It seems likely, first piece of a new line that's highly anticipated.
