General questions

I don't think there's a thread like this, and i always find myself asking all kind of different, small questions regarding little stuff. So i want this thread to be for questions that don't necessarily fit in any other thread.

So i'll start by asking how is the medicom body (in terms of length and width) compared to the hot toys truetype?

Much smaller in all aspects.

My turn: Why was I born so awesome?

So if i buy medicom clothes they won't fit on a truetype? And second, how about dc direct clothes, how will they fit?

Medicom clothes will be to small for a standard truetype. Might fit a slim

DC clothes would be large on a truetype.

Godamit, i was gonna buy some medicom shirts and pants. So you say they're small, small as in, they'll fit tight or small as in, the pants would show 2" of the exposed foot? And thanks for answering

My guess is both - the medicom body is not only shorter, but also a bit thinner than a standard truetype body.

What shirts and pants are you looking for? Maybe there is an equivalent version that would fit the truetype.

I wanted to buy from a guy the medicom joker pants, shirt, vest and coat. I looked for some comparisions between the medicom body (is it called RAH?) and the truetype, and indeed the medi body is smaller and slimmer, like a good inch and a half or so

Yep, Medicom clothes generally will only fit their body; same with DCD.

Dragon, DiD, Sideshow and Hot Toys are usually pretty interchangeable... there will sometimes be differences, but not much.

BTW, did we get an answer as to why Chase is so awesome?

So final question to ease my mind : there's absolutely no point to buy the medicom clothes, 'cause they won't fit at all on a truetype? Not even the joker's coat/vest? Problem with the coat would be the arms length, and with the vest if it would close once put on the body :S

That would be my thoughts on it... honestly the price of the V1 & BR Joker have really plummeted; and will likely continue to do so. Just stick with HT on this one.

Hm, thanks for the advice. I have the BR and i wanted to get clothes for his V1 look, and medicom seemed cheaper..

edit: actually, i have another question. How about DC Direct clothes (especially pants), how are they fitting on a truetype? Longer wouldn't be a problem, but would they be tight?

Dunno... I seem to loose interest after a few minutes

If you use the True Type Slim or the EnterBay body they are both the same size as the Medicom body

Thanks for the idea, but that would mean one joker is shorther than the other, so it's a no go


Now regarding the coat, if this is how it fits the medicom body



..do you think it won't fit a truetype at all?
