Not too impressed with that trailer. Too much CGI, and it looks a bit too polished for my tastes. After all these years, the transformation sequence in American Werewolf in London is still the best I've seen. Pretty much all of the CG wolf transformations I've seen have been way too cartoony and fake looking, and this looks to be no exception.

This looks amazing. :rock The trailers has a "nice feel" to it. I really liked everything about it. I can't wait until February!

Very Cool. The werewolf has always been my favorite movie monster. Looks like a good rendition of the story...I am looking forward to it.

WTF is gollum doging here?

Wow! I think I just saw the whole movie!!!:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl Gotta say , American Werewolf in London , for it's non-CGI days, had some great transformation effects.

Here it is. If you haven't seen that film, you really should. The Howling is another really great werewolf movie from that period of time. I just saw it for the first time last year or so, and it exceeded all my expectations.

I have to say that I am not that impressed with the American Werewolf in London transformation.

It just doesn't match my imagining a man becoming a half man/half wolf beast.

The thing that I would like to see is someone make the beast look like it is not supposed to exist. It seems to me that most of the designers try to make werewolves look cool. In my imagination, that beast should look like an animal that didn't make it to being a wolf nor a human. The human/animal parts should be more random. Like one hand being mostly human and the other completely wolf. The body being in a toturously twisted shape because of the incomplete transformation and the beast wants to walk like a human, but can't. The jaw could be a twisted mess because one side of it didn't change very much from being human and the other side changed completely to wolf and the teeth in the middle transition between the two.

I think that would make for a beast that is more believable both in it's appearance and the reasoning for it's violent mindlessness.
