Quick question.....

I have a gift card and I can't make a decision which one to get....

Jaws Maquette or Species Maquette????

Just want your guys opinion...

Character wise, the Jaws is nice. But the Species is more visually stunning.
Wait, maybe I would go with Jaws, is it too late to change my vote?

I used to have Jaws and was very surprised how stunning this piece is. I saw Species at Comic Con last year and thought to be one the best pieces ever made. That's why I can't decide....:google

Well....Jaws is a waaaay better movie, but I'm trying to decided the character and not the movie, otherwise, this would not be even close....:horror

COMPARE the two . . .

JAWS

The Species maquette . . . IMHO . . . have a definite "attitude" and "character" in the sculpt and . . . IMHO . . . more visually appealing as a maquette compared the JAWS maquette.

By no means does this mean that SPECIES was a superior film than JAWS. JAWS was . . . is . . . superior as a film compared to SPECIES.
 
Jaws is the better movie by a mile, but I'd go with the Species maquette. I love Giger's design.

Btw, does Sideshow still give out gift cards? I can't remeber the last time I got one. :(
 
Jaws is obviously a superior film but the maquette is so so. The Species maquette looks very impressive. I'd go with Species.
