Did you ever own one?

In hawaii you'd get beat up if you had one of those things.

I used to remember seeing the commercial in the 80's.
I always felt sorry the kids playing with My Buddy as they clearly had no friends.
I felt the same way for Andy in Child's Play

I wanna kill myself after watching that the song is baaaaaaaaaaaaaaad! :lol :lol

Teddy Ruxpin was totally scarier than My Buddy and Kid Sister combined!

My Pet Monster was a slightly... slightly more acceptable form of this. But even then I think kids who owned one should still at least get wedgies.

Worst though were those damn cabbage patch dolls... one of my friends had one in 3rd grade, I stopped talking to him :lecture

Bite your tongue! My Pet Monster was (and is) awesome!

Same here! My nostalgia meter just went into the RED! :rock

As for My Buddy, I never had one... but my step brother did. Needless to say he chopped it up and buried it after he saw Child's Play. :lol

Here's another creepy doll

Actually, boys playing with dolls when younger is a good thing. They are more well rounded and caring.

I find it funny that no one ever says anything about little girls playing with cars or trains, but let a little boy play with a doll and they have a hissy. Same with wearing pink! Both my brother and his son had a doll when they were little.

Oh, I never wanted to post the thread because Boy dolls are sissy because they are not.
I started the Thread because My Buddy was clearly the inspiration for the Good Guys dolls.
I buy my little girl Thomas the Tank engine trains, so I would never say boys should not have dolls.
As a Kid I used to play with my sister and her dolls because Action Man was dating Barbie at the time.
