ADULT SWIM

Didn't see any official thread about Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. I've seen individual threads of shows from Adult Swim...but not really a thread that we can discuss all the shows together and learn the latest news about them ....Mod's please feel free to move or delete or whatever it is that you do...if a thread like this already exist.

I was just thinking about how awesome the show's on Adult Swim are! I started watching it ever since they started with the bump of the old people in the pool!!

My favorite shows back in the day were:
-Space Ghost Coast to Coast
-The Brak Show
-Sealab 2021

Right now tho, my favorite show has to be The Venture Bros, Metalocalypse and Robot Chicken!
My least favorite is Assy McGee...cuz it's crap and it doesn't even make me chuckle.

I saw Tim and Eric in Philly, Awesome show, great job.

I also like Venture Bros, Boondocks, ATHF, Frisky Dingo, and Sealab.

Oh yea, Metalocalypse is cool too.

YUP GIRL POWER! But yeah,......Tim and Erick is more like psychological comedy....like I'm pretty sure that they know that there acting stupid.....but thats what make's it funny!! I dunno ...it makes me belly laugh.

ATHF on the other hand...thats funny shat ..but their comedy is more griddy (at least in my opinion)...like when i watch it...it make me feel icky inside.

I think the only episode that I likes of Frisky Dingo was the Scion TC episode...if anybody find a video of that episode ...make sure to post it...cuz it's awesome.

I liked the ATHF movie, and their comedy reminds me of Arrested Development where you have to really pay attention to what the characters say to get the best laughs out of it.

Tim and Eric is just a sick show in the aspects that it kicks ass and that there is a lot of throw up involved and dressing up like girls, its a sick show and I love it!

I haven't watched Adult Swim in ages, but I used to love Sealab 2021. That show was demented.

Nothing will ever top Sealab.

ASSY MAGEE I was drunk one day and when I turned on the TV the first thing I saw was a booty with legs that sounded like Sylvester Stallone. I was like what the hell!! I was tripping out so I had to laugh at it.

But what I really like is:

The Venture Bros
Metalocalypse
Squidbillies
Superjail
Robot Chicken
Family Guy
Lucy the daughter of the Devil
Xavier the Renegade Angel

But the stuff that I'm a huge fan of is the Anime programs.

Sealab was also my favorite back in the day. I was obsessed with that show around 2003, watching old tapes over and over (well, I had no cable at the time, so I didn't have much choice). But I also truly love some of the old Space Ghost: Coast to Coast and Cartoon Planet episodes (this was way back in the 90s). For those of you who never saw Cartoon Planet, you missed out on some great stuff. It was really the birth of Brak:

Aqua Teen was also OK, but it turned to crap over time. Never cared much for Harvey Birdman or Brak Show. Don't like the new stuff except for Venture Brothers, which is brilliant, IMO. I hate Robot Chicken. I don't think it is funny or clever in the least.

Space Ghost: CtC was great because it was so damn bizarre. Those writers had to be high all the time because that show was way out there. Sometimes it was waaaaaaay out there.

Does anybody remember that one Pilot Episode called Korgoth of Barbaria. That shat was so hilarious!! I wonder why it failed! If you haven't seen it, i posted the episode below! It's like a parody of Conan!

Adult Swim wierds me the hell out. There was this show where everyone was in prison, and they all die horribly. I was disturbed.


I'll only watch Robot Chicken and ATHF on that channel.

yeah..i know which on ur talking about ...Superjail!....yeah...that one was kinda out there! I liked the fat man ladie they had there tho.

Boondocks and Robot Chicken are probably my favorite original AS shows. Anyone remember the show that was by the creators of Ren and Stimpy (I think) about three super hero brothers and their mom? I forgot the name of it but it was allways fun to watch. Baby Blues was cool and so was Mission Hill.
