Band of Brothers was great and I loved it, but there is one thing it didn't have...Captain Miller.
And you can't tell me that the opening scene at Omaha Beach wasn't epic. There is nothing like it in Band.
The Pacific is gonna be a great show!

agreed!!! i've been tracking this show for a couple years now. i can't wait to finally get to see it. i don't have HBO so i'm gonna be running to my parents house every night its on so i can watch it....then i'll download it over the weekend so i can watch it again.

having read eugene sledge's book of his experiences on okinawa and pelilieu, and having read that this is based in part on his book. all i have to say is ..... semper fi. but being/have been a paratrooper, my heart lies with band of brothers.
