Definitely agree with you there bud! For some reason I've always thought he was knighted, but then I realized I was mistaking him for Ian McKellan. My mistake!

I would thank him for scaring the crap out of me when I was a kid.

Definitely long overdue.

No matter whaty he appears in, his presence cannot be ignored nor contended with. He dominates scenes with such ease. the Hammer films are some of me faves. Long Live Mr. Lee

When I hear his name I instantly think of horror films. he is a legend, and he is well deserving of this.

The guy has been working continuously since 1946! It's shocking it's taken so long for him to get this recognition, but hopefully he will have many more years to enjoy it.
