It gets even worse...Highlander remake?

I came accross an article that reviews a script for the Highlander remake.I don't know if the project is greenlit or the article trustworthy(https://www.cc2k.us/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1834). Let's just hope it won't get made.I loved the original (as many here).I won't even try to imagine what the Freaks Krusade would do to the people involved... Sorry if it's old news.

The script even goes so far as to have MacLeod drop his sword in the climactic battle with Kurgan at the end and attempt to reason with him!

I would only watch this if Clancy Brown was the Kurgan AND he killed that wuss Connor.

it could be a reboot of the tv show brought to film.

I can understand them wanting to do a reboot or remake since parts of it seem dated. I think they've been talking about this for awhile. But Clancy Brown is the Kurgan. No one will ever take his place.

I'm okay with a remake replace Lambert, I'd be fine but no Clancy. No Dice.

No remake could possibly hope to match the awesome combination of Clancy Brown and Queen. Any attempt would be a pale and pointless effort.

a remake sounds good. maybe they will make it watchable this time.

freddie mercury was the s*it. even if he that mic stand at :49 like it was a....well..... and then used it to lock blades with lambert. even the video still better than "the source"
