Is Venom supposed to be shorter than Spiderman?

I got the Medicom Venom and he's a tiny little feller. About a head shorter than Spidey although on a wider body. I always thought Venom was supposed to tower over Spidey? Medicom has been pretty good with scale on their 1/6 - Wolvie shorter than Cyclops, etc. But this is kinda disappointing.

Nope Venom is about 6'3 where is Peter Parker is my height 5'10......

Geez, I was hoping Venom would be at least 11.75" like Spidey or 12" like Darth. They just shipped mine from HLJ today. Ah well. He crouches a lot anyway.

It's my only gripe with the figure. The muscular body is awesome and suits Venom but why Medicom made Spidey so much taller I'll never know. :banghead

To offset the height difference, I posed my Spidey in an "on-all-fours" pose so that you can't notice the difference. It helps a little.:rolleyes:

Yeah Venom is too short. I love the wide looking body on him though he casts an awesome silouette(sp). Carnage is like Spiderman a bit too tall. I also think they made carnage to beefy but he is the same size as spiderman so that's ok. IF venom was bigger the other too would look good in comaparison.

Man that sucks. I was thinking of getting one someday but now I guess I'll just stick with the Toy Biz rotocast figure.

Speaking of Rotocast figures, I've seen a lot of advertisement for a wave of 1/6 rotocast figures coming out next year (2006). Most are ones we've seen before in this format, but hopefully they are new reworkings of the original versions. (I'd like a Brown and yellow Wolverine personally)

I'll definitely pick up a Iron Man or two!

I'd love another Hulk. And Iron Man is a perfect subject for roto. I hope they do a good job on Cap. I'd like to have some sort of 1/6th version even if this isn't exactly my dream.
