I am not keen on taking any of my figures out of the
boxes yet. Dusting is not my favorite thing.
Any suggestions as to the best way to display figures
still in the box?

Not taking them out of the box? Blasphemy!!!!

Actually, I suppose it depends on if you want to display your stuff with the flaps open so you can see the figures, or closed to display the art.

If open, you'll need lots of space between figures.

If closed, you could just display them side-by-side, as they look in the store. That way you could just open the flap when you feel like seeing a particular figure.

All in all, I still think opening them up is the way to go. Sure, you have to dust them occasionally (unless you're willing to spring for a display case or two), but most figures look 10X better out of their prisons.

Thanks, I want to get a display case to properly
show them. I am looking for just the right case.
Hubbie is tired of seeing the boxes all over the house.

If anyone has their figures in a display case I would
love to see pics.

I don't have a display case, and I'm not sure what your after exactly. If your meaning shelf units with glass doors, then your looking at an expensive but excellent option. If your meaning a small single unit, cube type case, that holds just one figure, I have seen these about. I tried to find an on line source, as I have found them before, but no luck this time. I thought Dragon made one or two. I have seen them in the Hobby shops here, in Australia, though I found that they were too confining for the figure. It was a trapeziod shape, that really didn't allow much room to pose the figure. If I find anything more I will post it here.

Got mine displayed in an ikea bookshelf, can't remember how the model is called but I do know you can get glass doors for them which I will once I moved out of this place.
An all-glass cabinet seems like a little overkill to me; I have one and somehow these soldiers look better against a wooden background than the mirror/glass option. It's not that easy to find a glass cabinet that can have a lot of alteration of the glass shelves either, will certainly boost you into a higher pricerange.
The one figure-cases aren't very attractive imho. Reminds me of snowwhite.

I believe that Ikea model is called a Billie book case. You can obtain it with or without glass.

Thanks for the advice.
I will have to look around for
options. I need something sturdy
that my dogs won't be able to wreck.

I found a web site that sells plastic display boxes.
I may look into something like that for my figures.
Here is the link if anyone else would like to look.

I had one of those boxes. They're pretty small, not really meant for dramatic poses, just to hold a figure standing upright. I'd look into some glass door shelving if you're concerned about dust and pets.

You are probably right.
I will see what I can find
