i've got it. haven't read it all the way through, but the parts i have read are pretty good. the book deals fairly well with the reason anakin turns and my fears about it being unrealistic have been put to rest.........of course, lucas could cut all those scenes.:lol

Just got my copy today, plan to dive in later tonight.

Actually, I have high hopes of the book paralleling the film pretty closely. SW Insider had an interview with Matthew Stover in the current issue and he states Lucas was very involved with the progression of the book (yeah I know, big surprise right) Stover even mentions about have to reorganize certain scenes in the book because Lucas reorganized them in the film. Stove sounded very confindent too that all of the changes Lucas made really improved the storyline.

It started on Sunday...It was horrible, right there on a Target shelf...I am fighting wheather or not to pickt his one up or not. While I really want to I feel like there is so little I don't know about the new film I should try and save atleast a surpise or two.

On the other hand, I was @ Banres & Noble tonight and poured thru the Technical, Visual and Best of the Best Art of ROTS.... So drooolll

So GG & Obi fight in the trailer and I missed it..... ? How the he...:thwak

I have really had to fight the urge to get this one, I just don't want EVERYTHING to be figured out before the release.

Whether you wait until after the movie or not, everyone must get this book. I am absolutely amazed. I have never read anything by Stover before, but this is excellent. I believe he has written some other novels in the SW universe and I am definitely going to have to go back and pick these up. He has also expressed an interest in continuing the original tales through episode 7, 8, and 9 if Lucas desires. I would be all over these.

The book is incredible, and I think the film just might be as good as the original trilogy...(better than Jedi for sure)...I know the feeling is dark, like Empire. I pretty much ruined the movie waay back, by looking at reliable spy reports and segments of official scripts, so I know this much....Anakin's dialog is VERY dark and nasty. It also seems that GL is following certain elements that he always said he would, even from the beginning.
IMO I think this movie is gonna shock a lot of the fans, the amount/type of death is just nasty and stupendous, even slightly disturbing in a weird way...can't wait!
