Finally After 5 Years....

I've been a member since the move, so I've posted before but never really told my tale. I've been an avid collector for the past 20 years and have displayed everything I buy. Well my display cabinets became full in 2000. For the past 5 years I've been buying like crazy and worring about displaying them later. Yesterday I finally broke down and bought 2 display cabinets.

Christmas came early for me this year. I am now able to open close to 200 figures that I've bought in the past 5 years!! But here's my dilemma; I'm from the school of thought "Buy 2, open 1 and save the other". I really haven't bought 2 of everything lately. So what gets opened and what stays closed? Do I open The Creature, Spike, Ni Knight and so on...? Would you open your Megos or vintage Star Wars? So why is Sideshow different. I guess I'll leave the tough choices for last.

In parting, I leave you now to open these bad boys up. Screw football I'm going to go play with my toys!!! :joy

I wish I was old school reading that. I subscribe to buy one and buy more of them school, by necessity rather than anything else. Sure would like another Creature, and I thought so when I bought my first. Even so I can't afford cabinets, so I rotate my display. I have to think dust makes them look more natural, more like me. It's good to have more 1/6 collectors, they way the hobby is going we need to stick together. Glad to see you finally posted and hope to see more of your posts, and read more about your collection.
