I've always been a fan of the Marvel Legends line, even when the property was still owned by ToyBiz. But when I heard Hasbro was discontinuing the 6 Inch Marvel Legends line for a 3 3/4 Inch line I was a little upset. That was, until I actually saw them. I was at Toys R Us today and they had the 3 3/4 Inch Marvel Universe and Wolverine figures in stock, and I must say, they really are well detailed. I just wanted to see who else might pick up this new line...

I might pick and choose although there are already a boat load of exclusives to various retailers with Tier 1 characters that has me a bit anxious.

I did a lot of picking and choosing with the Marvel Legends line, and I'll probably do the same with these as well. As long as they give me the figures to build an 80's X-Men team I'll be happy. So far they've already come out with the first figure for me to start building my team, and that's a Classic Wolverine in the Wolverine Movie line...

I might grab the occasional single carded fig, but you can bet your sweet cheeks I'll be getting all 12 of the Secret Wars comic packs:

What is upsetting is that the Captain America in general release is the Ultimates version and the only way the get the standard at least at first is to get the Secret Wars pack

I'm kinda hoping that I'll only need to get the 2 packs in order to have a nice set of all the major charaters (Cap, Spidey, IM, Hulk, Thor, Wolvie, ect.) and not really worry about being nickle and dimed by the single card releases.

I hope this trend continues next year with some more mini series, like Infinity Gauntlet, rather than just some random issues like with the Star Wars and Joes packs.

I never heard about these two-packs... Sweet! My favourite Marvel storyline from the 80's... Just hopefully they won't offer a Beyonder Disco version from the sequel.

:lol

Not bad for a line that isn't even out yet.:horror

I have the complete line of toybiz Marvel Legends minus a few variants and just some of Hasbros ones. I like how the Secret Wars look, I did manage to pick up the comic version Deadpool and Maverick. The only problem to me is they cost almost $10 each where the 6" ML cost about the same. I may pick and choose certain ones I like, which when I was collecting the ML, I got every figure because of the BAF.

Thinking about collecting this line too...I need to collect a toy line and this one is perfect.

This line looks lame, IMO.

I don't want Marvel toys that can be beaten up by Star Wars toys. :lol

It's been 25 years since Secret Wars came out? Damn, I'm old. :(

:lol

Same here.

We know the first 6 figures, I'll take a stab at the remaining 18 spots:

The three remaining Wrecking Crew
Magneto
Cyclops
Storm
Nightcrawler
Colossus
Iron Man
Hulk
Thor
Hawkeye
Thing
Black costume Spider-Man
Doctor Doom
Ultron
Kang
Lizard

Although I would like a She-Hulk vs Titania pack.

I'm bummed that they won't continue the 6" Legends line. I would have love to have gotten the Wrecker & Ms. Marvel classic among others at that size!

The problem with smaller figures such as the 3.75" is the paint jobs usually suck. I mean, the paint jobs on many of the Legends were bad, I can't imagine what they'll look like on these smaller figures. I do like the card art (Cho?) they are using. I may pick up doubles for some of my favorites.

Geez, another freakin' line of toys to collect!:dance
