I was at Target today and found one of the Hall of Armors Iron Man figures on clearance for something like $2.64. I picked it up since I've always wanted to make a Hall of Armors display for my comic figures, and I've just been waiting for these to drop down low enough. Unfortunately, that was the only one they had. I'll have to check a couple other stores tomorrow.

Got my wave 4 set from BBTS. I'm a happy camper. I feel pretty satisfied with this line if nothing else comes out, to be honest. Sif looks very nice. The sheen of the white on her costume along with the metallic silver and gold looks very nice. And she has no dumb gimmick weapon! So bonus there. The new version of the Destroyer looks a MILLION times cooler than the first version. The slick black look is less screen accurate but great. Also, not having a transparent head and having painted eyes helps. The Ice Axe Thor is actually pretty cool. I like the colors a lot. Same with the muted tones of the Cosmic Thor. I was a bit sad that the only things that glow in the dark are his armor bumps. I think they could have done more with that.

They haven't done Storm, Beast or Rogue in those costumes yet. But for Beast you could always buy the Marvel Legends Superhero Showdown version if you don't want to wait. It's the same scale and surprisingly well done for the size.

I don't collect the line myself, but my six year old always wants to look when we go to the stores and I check to see if they have any of the rarer characters. If they have them I pick them up to offer to board members and just return them if no one wants. The only reason I hung onto Cable was because I knew he was a variant.

I hated how this x-force archangel was handled by Marvel/Hasbro. For fury, you were able to buy a 3month subscription (which is much cheaper than a 1 year) and still be able to order the Fury Figure.

According to all figure assortment cases the aforementioned were only packed 1 per case of 12. Unless you buy a case or stalk walmart night and day you would not find them as easily as the countless other figs that flood the shelves. they were not repackaged unless you count revision cases that specialty stores receive and even then, they were only packaged 1 per case of 12.

Ya I was gonna link it but I think it's sold out and they pulled it off. They run a little small so I had to get one size bigger. They also have spiderman but no eye holes. When I checked my local hot topics, captain America was selling more than spiderman. Hopefully the shield goes on sale too. I bought the Shield for around $7 2 years ago when hot topics was clearing them out. This movie version feels more sturdier than the previous release.

I found Astonishing Wolverine today. I'm glad they finally ditched the clunky X-Force sculpt this year and started reusing the X-Men Origins: Wolverine. This one looks really nice and actually fits in scale with the rest of the characters.

Part of my sentence got cut off. I meant to say I'm glad they're using the XMO: W sculpts in general. The Tiger Stripe and Brown Costume figures have popped up here and there.

But this Astonishing figure is actually a rehash of an XMO: W two-pack that came with a modern Colossus figure. The colors are a little different here and he has a masked instead of unmasked head. That set was pretty rare, so I'm glad to see them giving the figure a second chance.

Yes, Ben Reilly Scarlet Spider. I haven't seen any of the others you mentioned in upcoming waves, but MU will do obscure and variant figures. I think the Flash Venom is a good bet to be made in the next year or two.

My 7 year old has decided that Beyblade is his new obsession and wants to buy some more; one is obviously not enough since he can't mix & match. Being the collector that he is, he wants me to sell some of his old collection to buy something new. If you have watched the WTB thread, he does this about once a year (Star Wars, Dragon Ball Z, MU, etc).

He has the SDCC Defenders Red Skull w/ cane (missing the Luger), Namor w/ trident & horn, & Human Torch w/ fireball. They all seem to be in perfect condition and not played with. I don't see any of the stands or identity cards. I was thinking $52 shipped on the boards; that is ALOT less than they sell for on eBay and would buy him 4 Beyblades and the little arena. I will try to take a picture of them later today.

He has many more older MU figures, but I am hesitant to sell some of those since they are "main" characters that he may decide to play with again.

If you decide to sell, keep me in mind. I'm relatively new to this line and there are a lot of characters I'd love to own. Everything ranging from X-Men to Avengers and everything inbetween. My only requirement is that the figures be in "unplayed" with conditions.

You do realize it's coming from a 7 years old's collection, which has been opened. Definitely going to be in "played" condition

i have over 120 of these guys they added up so quickly that i have no room to display them anymore.i was kinda glad they took a break when they did but now the new waves are about to come out....arghhh. why am i so addicted to them!

I've recently gotten back into these and noticed that they've stopped including a stand with them. What are you guys using to keep them upright? I've seen a couple of different kinds of stands online, but was just looking for some opinions.
