My Vamp Buffy review

It's a Buffy night - at least for me. At MROTW, I have a review of the latest Sideshow 12" figure based on the license, Vampire Buffy. What's the worst nightmare a vampire slayer can have? Becoming a vampire of course! Based on the episode "Nightmares", this is one of the better figures in the line, and certainly one of the best Buffy's we've gotten.

And over at MPS, I have a review up of the DST "Buffy vs. Dracula" mini-bust. Calling it a bust is a bit of a misnomer, since it's everything from the thighs up, but calling it a 'full torso' just hasn't caught on.

Thanks for the review, I'm now compelled to place my order for one. But I think it might be a good thing that Sideshow just used the floss ties, then have the sides of the plastic pinch in the accessories and mare the edges like I've had on a few bladed weapons I've got from Sideshow.

Well, I think this is as good as a place to say that I just got my Vamp Buffy today! :banana
The head turned out perfect, no complaints there. But I broke the small spear tip on the large double bladed ax. :(
It didn't take much to get it to bend.
I supper glued it back into place, hopefully the glue will keep it secure in place.
One minor issue I have is that her hands can't really grasp the ax handles.
But I agree, the Buffy tombstone is a great accessory. nice and hefty pollystone (I think it's pollystone, I don't have any SSC statues except a Simpsons bust).
