HI guys!

I have been collecting Sideshow pieces for a little more than a year now and I missed getting Iron Man Comiquette and Dr. Doom. I always want it but can't afford to get it now for $1300 on Ebay.

That's why when I see a piece I really like, I reserve and try my best to make sure I have the money for it when it comes out. I was fortunate enough to be able to grab Hulk PF and Cap Exclusive. Do you guys have anything that you regret not getting it when it was released and now it is too expensive?

Well I've only been collecting Sideshow since June 08 so I missed out on a lot of great pieces like the Hulk PF, Doom PF, Cap PF and the EndoSkull. If only I started this hobby sooner I would of had a chance to get them.

I have been pretty lucky and don't have many regrets. Doom PF is nice, but I don't regret passing. Same thing with Iron Man.

The Mummy PF. I had the color version on order, but then I cancled because I decided I wanted the SSE more given that my Frank and Drac are SSE. Then when it came out they did it in a much smaller edition size than usual and I couldn't afford it.

I've been collecting SS sicne 2003 so I've missed a few. The Doom PF comes to mind as a big one I'd like to have another shot at.

Easily Doom PF for my own collection, maybe the Wolverine comiquette as well, but I see a PF coming in 09; could also say more of the HT Predators, but those would only be from a flipping standpoint. :monkey3

Mostly I wish I could have gotten the Wolverine Comiquette, I only saw it recently and I can't afford to pay what it's going for now. The rest that I want I think I can still get them for pretty close to retail, I just hope they don't shoot up as well.

Orthanc as well but my reason for missing out was that I didn't know about it until after it had sold out and started skyrocketing in price (circa 2003). It's truly my one and only "grail". (well, that and the WiKi crown.)

I think that part of the fun of collecting is trying to track down the pieces that you missed. Except for Thor, my whole collection is comprised of must have pieces that I missed. The ones on my list to track down this year are Iron Man comiquette, Wolverine comiquette, Predator maquette.

If I had known about Sideshow when Doom PF was out, I definitely would have got it. I've never been a big fan of Doom, but I liked his look with the Armor and outer cloak.

I was similar with the first X-Men dio. It was still available when I first started buying from Sideshow, and I was very tempted by it. I used the same reasoning you did, not a big enough fan for that price. I regretted it as soon as the second one came out. The regret has died down a little now, but I'd still love to have all three.
