just an update to the Merrick sculpt Ive been working on.
Ive started on the right arm & chest a little and having a blast. thinks Ive found a new passion.
learned a lot already. mostly what NOT to do.

wow! is this your first sculpt ever?! thats amazing! but i gotta know. In another thread when you showed your reference pic it was in colour. The movie was in black and white. can you explain?

the reference photo was from the movie "From Hell" based on Alan Moore's graphic novel about jack the Ripper. At one point in the movie the doctor is showing his medical class Mr. Merrick. And "they" say, it was supposed to be accurate with the real J. Merrick. So I based mine somewhat off of the Merrick in From Hell, since i have it on DVD at home. but its only loosely based that one.
