where can i find out how to get a custom tailored Joker suit for my Hot Toys Joker?
i love the tailoring, but i want the accurate color scheme
i noticed Les Walker's custom Joker seems to have the DCD Joker overcoat
but it also appears as though he altered it to be a brighter bolder shade of purple
and made the inner lining burnt orange
i'm curious as to how he achieved this, hope to do the same with my Hot Toys suit
(don't know if it's possible to dye the material)

i have emailed Harue for information on how to get a custom suit done
but i haven't gotten an email back

just curious if they are any other places to get a custom done
or at least have my current Joker suit altered to have accurate colors

i'm more drawn to the replicas seen at the Arclight Theatre
i love the color schemes they have
i don't need the long chain though, i just bought an extra chain to extend it

i really appreciate the detail in Hot Toys' suit, it's just the colors that are off
i love their work, their TDK Batman figure i find is better than the real suit
they made the emblem bigger, which was my complaint with the new suit
i just need help locating a guy or company
or just tips on altering the colors

thanks

this one really shows off the inner coat
and the tie, it's more like a hunter green, whereas in the film, it was DARK

Actually the coat on Les' Joker is custome made. Not the DCD one. Some dude named BillyB made it. I know EBay has 1/6 scale tailors but they tend to do like leather outfits (Matrix) or relaxed looks (T-Shirts, Jeans, etc.) IMO the majority of available 1/6 scale clothing sucks and looks terrible. I'm not even a fan of how Les' Joker turned out specifically in the clothing department. Everyone uses 1:1 material for that scale and it's simply too damn big. The collars on some dress shirts in that scale are comical.. the figures end up looking like little kids trying on "grown-up" clothes.

I looked around for a custom 1/6 scale Joker suit myself.. I found nothing. Hopefully you'll do better and share. :D

ah okay, his coat's design is identical to DCD's, so i naturally put 2 and 2 together

look up Harue
i tried emailing them
haven't gotten a response
but maybe you'll find a better way to communicate with them
they've made this suit, i have problems with it, like the shade of the vest and overcoat
but they got the inner coat pretty much down
more accurate than the Hot Toys one anyway
but still darker than the inner coat on the replica

also notice, it has no coat tails, they're not split into 3
again, i understand these guys can customize clothing that you want
so their suit can be altered if you want
from what i understand

Wait.. LockJaw bro, Harue is the guy who designed the 1/6 scale Joker clothing FOR Hot Toys. Those pics are the mock up FOR Hot Toys. Someone else brought this up because they saw the same pics and thought about asking for a custom. Sorry.

The only thing that ever really bothered me about Joker's clothes was the shirt and tie. The coller on the shirt doesn't close all the way to my understanding and the design is a tad off as well as the design on the tie. I also know the socks are innacurate as well but that doesn't really bother me since they're gonna be covered.

The tie bothers me a little bit too, not detailed enough.

Hot damn, that takes me back. I remember how excited I got when I first saw pics of the costume in 1/6. Sweetness.

Not to hijack this thread, but I was wondering would the shirt and tie on the DCD Joker fit an HT Body or would it be to long and/or bulky? The shirt and tie on the DCD Joker seems to be more accurate.

Yeah, the shirt collar disappointingly cannot close around the neck and the tie is made of cheap construction. Everything else looks top notch.

well, i would think it would
i'm going to get myself a DCD tie too, it's more accurate
i'll just need to tighten the knot on it, so it's not huge
i don't think the shirt is accurate though
it's more lavender, the Hot Toys one is accurate, it's just a wee little duller
and the DCD shirt doesn't have the little details, it just has the hexagonal shapes

i'm still trying to figure how to make suspenders for mine
i want to see the socks, like in the film, they're like clown trousers
i tried giving mine a wedgie, but the pants just slip down

anyone know where i can get 1/6 suspenders?
i found some pants on ebay that have suspenders, but i don't know
if they can be removed or not

you could probably just cut them and stitch them on.
I did the same thing for a Leon the professional figure.

Your right about the HT shirt being more accurate, it's just the fact that the collar doesn't fully close around the neck kinda annoys me plus the collar pattern itself seems off imo but I will admit the overall shirt on the HT Joker is more accurate to DCD's. Actually looking at the Medi Joker, the shirt looks to be pretty decent as well though thats pretty much the only thing about the Medi Joker that looks good imo.

i don't suppose there's a way to contact this BillyB i've heard about it is there?
seen his work, want to know any tips for changing the color
or even having the material replaced with better colors

thanks
i saw his profile, can't find a way to get in touch

and now, i REALLY want to contact Harue
this is what they did for Hot Toys
God knows why we didn't all get something like this?!?!?!
the coat collars are accurate, not huge
the tie looks like the appropriate shade
the vest is good, the buttons are closer together, like the film
and the inner coat is BEAUTIFUL
the shirt looks fantastic
and the suit is PURPLE, appropriate shading
the inner lining is still red, and the coattails are wrong
but it's soooooooooo good (
