It arrived today sort of damaged...
Well, on inspection I noticed that the spike on Wolverine's boot has been re-attached to his foot. Its a very bad job!!!
I wouldnt have minded if it had been a decent repair, but its not :D
Emailed SS, do you think they will replace this for me considering its only a 300 LE??

Yeah, you shouldn't have a problem getting a replacement. Especially since they still have some available on second chance. Think they must have had many returned with people opting for the regular version instead.

I wonder what the will do when this problem arrises. A 300 LE piece doesnt give much room for error especially when the error seems so incredibly small. But collectors are nitpickers. So I wonder if this piece will get destroyed, or just send out to another collector in the hopes they wont notice. Unless they keep alot of spares to replace the broken ones....in which case it wouldnt be weird if this amazing popular piece came up for second chance :horror

Actually I figure eventually this piece will return to sold out status. Any returns from dissatisfied customers will at some point be snatched up by others. I am very glad I was able to get the exclusive. Even with everyone's criticisms I am very pleased and think it is an amazing statue. It still draws a lot of attention from people seeing my collection and not one of those individuals have noticed any problems with it that has caused so many others to return theirs. Ultimately you have to find personal satisfaction in what you buy, and I don't regret getting the exclusive version at all.

SS destroys all returns and uses some unnumbered pieces as replacements. They do this with any of the lines that have polystone or poly like pieces.

I would assume they only destroy BROKEN returns. But returns just because someone didn't like a seam or two, but are perfectly fine statues I would imagine are reintroduced into society and become contributing members of the community.

That's probably the case.
