Got all 6 today at Fry's. Also went to Best Buy and picked up Casino Royale (2 disc edition) on Blu with my $10 Reward Zone certificate. Every little bit helps!:D

I got the new Casino Royale, too. One of my favorite films of recent time :)

I was very tempted by the steelbook versions of the classic Bonds, though...

Yeah, same here. But I wasn't sure if Best Buy would price match Fry's on the classic Bonds since they only carry the steelbook, so I didn't try it. I can live without steelbook in my life.:lol

Oh, and just finished watching Dr. No tonight. Great movie as always!! :rock

Best Buy said no to price matching, since they only carry the steelbook special edition versions--a different product in their minds. (At least in the minds of their accountants.)

I picked up the new 3-disc Collector's Edition of Casino Royale yesterday. I already have all of the Bond's in two forms on DVD, in the original Special Edition versions and in the Ultimate Edition boxsets. The new Casino Royale is one of the most handsomely packaged releases I've seen. The outer box has a suede feel to it and is very heavy-duty, while the inner fold out has the same feel and the discs are packaged extremely well. Also included is a glossy book with some fun facts and trivia. A beautiful package and it was only $14.99 at Circuit City and comes with $10.50 in e-cash for Quantum of Solace. Best DVD deal in awhile.

The Blu-Ray has standard packaging, no booklet, and costs twice as much. :D

I was admiring the satin style coat that they gave the slipcase cover to the Blu-ray set, but it sounds like the DVD version is a little nicer. But for me, the picture/audio quality trumps the packaging.

I'm on my third Bond Blu-ray out of the first wave of six that I picked up this week, and I've never seen them look this good before.
