easily one of my favorite films and arguably the best "comic book" film yet... and i still don't have any figures from it?

as of now, i have set fire to my front lawn. i figure Sideshow has around 3 months before the wrath of hellfire is at their doorstep. that is plenty of time for them to make some Unbreakable figures.
time is ticking, Sideshow. and i have taken control of the chess board. your move.

brb, there's some sirens coming from my driveway.

... On that note, it's odd someone brought this up just as I found a custom 1/6 Mr. Glass head.

Ehh, the movie is ok at best. Nothing really to write home about, not a real "comic book" movie anyway.

I hear Shyamalan's thinking about a sequel.

I once read in an interview he swore to never make another sequel.
Now seeing as though his latest movies haven't been amazing I wouldn't be suprised if he went against this rule . :monkey3

nah, he always planned for it to be one movie. i doubt he'll ever do any sequels to anything he's done. he isn't Paul Anderson or Michael Bay.
making movies isn't always about making money.

What??!! This is M. Night Shenanigans best movie ever!!
I think it's cool it takes the super-hero genre and has a great story behind it.
I loved it!

i have to agree. i really enjoyed this movie the most of all of his endeavours. Although I still love all of his films and I agree, The Village was outstanding.

now i love this movie. think it's onea his best, BUT come on. all the character had to do to solve his "quest for the truth" is take a knife to his finger. try to cut himself shaving. something. make for a short movie tho lol.

I'd love Bruce Willis in his 'security' outfit, plus the big guy who keeps the family hostage and Mr Glass.

It's a great movie, despite the fact that it doesn't make sense (is he a superhero or not?).

No, it was going to be a trilogy. And who says making sequels is always about making money? Sometimes, theres more of a story to tell. And theres definitely one with David Dunn imo.

There was a Barbie figure from the late 90's that came in a wheelchair. That's the only one I know of. My guess is its in pretty bright colors, but could be worked with.

FDR from Drastic Plastic also came with one, but it is a very specific period style that would not work (I think large wheels in front, Vs the back).

Magnificent that he's at least considering it. Number 6 in my all-time top 10. I'm glad that he hasn't quashed the notion of a sequel completely, as I know he has stated his reluctance to pursue them. The movie is already a cult classic. I'm glad to hear there's been talk of revisiting the world of David Dunn and Elijah Price.

It's one of my favorite movies of all time, for the emotional aspect alone. I don't even really look at it as Superhero movie, but more of a tale of 'it's never too late'. There was that sadness and regret when he realized who he was, that he could have been doing good things all those years instead of wasting his life. But he chose not to dwell on that and still do something with his life

That's what I was looking forward to most in a sequel. Seeing where he took it from there.

Damn I hope Night gets to work on the sequels to this sometime in the future! I would love to see how he would have his "hero" live his life and safe people in the other 2 movies. I just love how grounded in reality this movie was.

Another sequel? What sequel has he done? M. Night is pretty hit and miss with me and his last one was really a stinker. Although I'd be interested where he'd take the story I wouldn't pay money to see another one of his films in theaters.

Glad to see some love for this film on here. I like it a lot as well. The scene in the train station is still the most realistic I've ever seen regarding what it would be like if someone in the real world had superpowers.

Also, I do recall M. Night stating way back when that if he ever did do a sequel his idea was that Mr. Glass would discover someone else who had similar abilities to David Dunn and will manipulate this person for his own goals and to become Dunn's nemesis. Personally, I like that idea... though it's too scarily remiscent of Superman IV in some ways.

I'd definitely be down for some figures. Medicom would be perfect for a fragile Mr. Glass. :monkey3

I worded the sentence wrong. I should of said " I read he once swore to never make a sequel to any of his movies. "
