Best Indiana Jones hat?

I'm looking for the nicest display item, and wearable hat for halloween. what are my best options and what are the cheapest ones? Thank you!

The Akubra Federation is high-quality and cheaper than most. You won't be disappointed with it---but you have to shape it yourself (unless you take it somewhere locally).

I think they're horrid. They can't be shaped and they're typically felt instead of real fur.

Probably would work for a Halloween costume---but I guess it all comes down to your budget.

I never really knew how drastic the difference was until I broke down and bought an Akubra.

That one looks quite nice for it's price. But it's no beaver.

Akubra is owned and run by the same family who created the business, and have actually found a use for the cute fluffy bunnies that plague Australia. Plus they're nice people and are based in the town I was born in. Give 'em some of your cash.

The $40 official hat is nice for what it is and will work for Halloween or the occasional wear around town. If you are going to wear it every day or plan on moving to the jungle then you can get a better one. I would seriously suggest you think about it if you are going to pay upwards of $400 for one, make sure you will get your money out of it. My suggestion, buy the cheap one and see if you'll wear it enough to make it worth it. At the least you have one that you can wear places and not worry about it getting jacked up.

well I got the official crushable hat and it's okay.. but now I'm thinking I should have went alittle more expensive... the shape does seem to be wrong but hey I'm one broke MOFO.. anyways

heres my halloween costume as of now. I pulled EVERYTHING out of my dad's closet and this is all I could find. what do you guys think? poor man's indy.

For the jacket get the Todds Costumes. It's arguably the most accurate Raiders jacket available. I have one and love it! I've owned Wested, Flightsuits, Coopers, Etc. and my favorite is my Todd's Standard.

I have also heard really good things about Todd's jackets. I have several pieces from him. In fact, I'm waiting on a pair of boots from Todd. I would really like to get one of his OTR jackets some day.
