Personally I think the WTB section runs pretty smooth as is, but thats just me.

People advertise what they want, if anyone can help, they respond and both parties communicate from there, deal may or may not be done and thread gets locked once it is.

Buyer: "I'm willing to pay $150-$200".

Seller: "Dear Buyer, $150 it is."

:lol

I agree with putting a price out, but as a range, it doesn't make sense.

A buyer should list a price and if a seller wants to counter it, they can.

I think listing a price helps.

Having a price simplies things. It can help prevent people from feeling they are being fleeched or taken advantage of.

Listing the price helps let prospective seller know if the buyer has a realistic expectation of the price they expect to pay for the piece they intend to buy and reduce unhappiness that might otherwise arise during negoiations.

Lastly, it will be an incentive for sellers who intend to list their stuff to look at the WTB section before listing.
