What other forums are you a member of and info please?

Howdy folks!

I'm curious on a few things regarding other forums and membership.

1. What other forums are you a member of?

2. Is your user name the same there as here?
If not - why? I keep mine the same to keep it simple for myself.

3. Which forum do you consider to be your "home base"
Mine is definitely here, but I'm liking www.statueforum.com as my 2nd.
LOTRG is just too big for my liking. Clubhouse is good, but haven't had the
time to get into it much - yet. Same exact thing with Shadow and Flame.

I'd love to get info on this, to discover new forums that would be of
interest to myself and others regarding statues, busts, figures, LOTR,
Star Wars, and generally any other collectibles or fantasy stuff.

And knowing the usernames would just be neat, in finding a friendly
face in the crowd so-to-speak if anybody chooses to sign up.

The only other one I go to regularly is Palisades Toys. I use the same name there too.

My only other collectables forum is BtVS Figs. I'm prophecygirl there too. In fact, that's my username for everything.

I post on a lot of other Buffy message boards, but that's the only collectable orientated one.

The reason my name at SW board is different is because I have been there much longer than anywhere else and have never changed my username to be consistent.

This is definitely my home board, but like you JS I seem to be spending more and more time at Statue Forum now that I have finally registered there.

The board here is highly focused (which I like and don't want to change)
while the statue forum is a bit broader and has opened my eyes
(and pocketbook!) to all of the different companies, kits, makers,
statues, busts, and all of the sculptors and painters out there.

I'm looking for more info on other boards which could further broaden the
horizons of myself and others here. Plus that way my misery will have company
and others will be just as broke as me after seeing all of the other totally
amazing non-Sideshow items that are available out there.

I know exactly what you mean JS. Since starting over at the Statue Forum, I about to start a new line of Marvel statues. Hard Hero. these things look amazing and from what everyone over there says I won't regret it. And to think if I had just kept my butt over here I would have never knew they existed.

With the debate about statueforum.com, I thought I'd revive this thread.

DVDTALK.com & Buccaneers.com. Been a member of DVDTALK since Jan 2000 & Buccaneers.com since Apr 2002.

I don't really post much at Buccaneers anymore since it seems like every teenager on the face of the planet posts there. It gets old fast when you constantly see 10 topics about the same thing.

ditto, My join date was Feb 2000.

I also frequent LCVG.com. A great gaming community that is monitored well to keep the juvenile asshats away.

Although I'm a member of many forums, I don't frequent any of them that often and rarely post. I typically hang out here at Freaks, LordoftheRingsGuide and Azog's Forum.

I also post at a couple others more often since I last posted.
