I think I can easily add the tongue, since he is silicon I just may have that option.

I want to do a few renditions of this sculpt.
I like full blown expressions.
maybe a laugh as in the jail with Batman .

Hi Guys this is still in works, I have allot of hair left to go , but I thought i would share the begining of it
I stilll have to put eyelashes etc on. I took allot of time and studying on this guy. very difficult sculpt.
this being the prototype will get trashed, it helps me see where the end result will be .
and what changes need to be made. and of course the costume is now made.

To those interested, start saving now. This is going to be a full 1:1 piece. Not a 1:1 bust. A full 6' tall plus screen accurate clothing everything statue.

edit: I corrected my post, I'm not sure how many are being made.

WOW i'm speechless, that looks MENTAL!!!!!!!!!! jeez there are some damned talented sob's on these boards, i cant believe some of the things you people do, i thought 1/6th repaints were difficult enough, and then i see 1/4 scultps, then 1/2, and now a 1/1, that looks PERFECT in every way. Amazing work, keep it up. I would buy one, how much are we looking at?

Here's all the information from the guy producing this project....

At the end it will feature:

FX Silicone Face
FX Make-Up
Medical Grade Prostethic Eyes
Real Human Hair (dyed in correct color & style Janice Alexander's (The Dark Knight Hair Department) team used on Heath Ledger for the movie)
Full Size Body sculpted in a Specific Movie Pose (6'1" - Accurate to Heath Ledger's Body Specs.)
Movie Accurate Clothing
..Magic Pencil
Right now Bob is working on the face and I'm working to locate the exact brand clothing used in the movie with help of some production guys that actually worked on the movie. I already located some parts of the costume (exact size, exact brand) - and now working on the rest. We try to nail it as close as possible.

Just to give you an idea..The English Clothing Company Turnbull & Asser (who dresses up the UK Royal Family, James Bond and many more) made the ties that costume department used on Heath Ledger. It was a limited run of only 50 ties made worldwide including the ones worn by Heath Ledger in the movie..Out of that run of 50 Turnbull & Asses Joker ties, we secured the last 5 pieces for our Joker project.

We also have couple of screen used costumes worn by Heath Ledger himself in his earlier movies (The Patriot, 10 Things I hate About You, Lords of the Dogtown, Casanova etc) - so those will guide us a lot to while tailor our Joker costume parts to fit perfectly on him.

If eveything goes well, we have plans for two exciting Joker "moments" during October / November , so stay tuned

I'm guessing around $10k, anyone else?

Unbelievably awesome! I can't wait to see this on a body.

If you want some REALLY nit-picking criticism, then I'd suggest maybe individually punching some additional hairs around the hairline - to my eye (mainly in the second pic, so it could just be lighting) it looks just a little too uniform - mostly on the (picture's) left hand side where the hair recedes.

hey Bobby C., one comment if you don't mind. Everything is spot on, except the face seems a bit long. Does anyone else see this?

I do! But it's almost completed now, would be a shame if Bob had to start all over over a simple thing. But here's a photoshopped pic that I sent him on another forum.

the new one is really the best sculpt I have ever done. I will post pics shortly, but I did adress everyone's thought's on how to make it better.
with this piece people will see it in so many different ways.
some like interigation scene
some like all the make up on him.
some smiling , some mad.
altough some critiques I did use to make this better.
I take this work extreamly serious and definatly not above critique
I often get blind fromt he sculpt.
Easy to do when you are looking at 100's of pics.
My biggest hang up is when do i walk away from the sculpt ?
I have been a real bad perfectionist in my work , in reality nothing ever is .
the most important thing is the client at the end of the day , is he or she happy?

I will be casting the head tomorrow, along with a chris lee piece.
You will never here me say anything really complimentry about my art , but this time I feel really proud of the new version.
we will also be working on a 1/3rd scale version with silicon head human hair etc.

I definitely wouldn't be able to afford any life-sized silicon busts, but I'd be interested in seeing how much the 1/3rd version might cost.

i'd be down if the price was right.
