Batman, but that's only because he's the only one I really know. I really like the way Green Arrow looks (I've always been a big Robin Hood fan) and I recently started reading some of his comics and I like him alot too, but I know more about Batman so...
I've never really liked Superman. He's too good, super fast, bullet proof, super strong, able to leap tall buildings, can fly...

Batman! I can remember when I was little wearing a Batman PJ with the little cape even wearing those Batman underoos. I was a fan back in the 80's. Now living back in my childhood days through my son, he also wears those PJ with the little cape and underoos. Not my old ones, but the new ones.

Gonna have to go with the majority on this and say Batman, mainly because I love his rogues gallery and he's been in my life from a VERY early age in one medium or another. He's certainly head and shoulders above any of the other DC characters in my estimation, though I do like Lex Luthor as a close second.

Since the 80's? You'r a rookie. I got hooked on Bats when I as in grade school, in the 40's. There was no Batman Underoos or PJ's. No action figures, just comic books, and I had them all. I'd draw my own posters from the comics and hang them on my bedroom wall. Now that I'm in my 70's, I'm in a second childhood. I have action figures, statues, and movies. I did see all the serials at the Sat Matinee's, and was happy as hell to have them. Now I have those same serials on DVD. LIFE IS GOOD ! ! !

I allmost voted Green Lantern, But in trueh, it's not so much Green Lantern, as it is Hal Jordan. He's diverse, he's Brave, and most importantly, he's not perfect. He still comes across as human. Talk about Diversity.

He could very well surpass batman in the next few months! Batman RIP is heading towards someone else taking up the mantle of the bat! ^^^^ grayson is a front runner! I love how the name D-I-C-K is bleeped out by the board. Poor dicky grayson lives his life as a giant obscenity:monkey2

Something also bears mentioning about me, Superman will allways have a special place in my hardt when it comes to superheroes. this is due to my first christmas, less than a year old in 1982, and my grandmother giving me a superfriends Superman figure for christmas, starting me down the path of comic geekdom... I still have him too.. :)

Oh man...have you actually READ the current Green Lantern book? Favorite DC title by far and actually makes you appreciate Green Lantern on a whole new level! :rock:rock:rock
and Batman wins by a landslide.
The votes would have been very different pre-TDK and BB. Those movies really breath new life into the character. I would guess that the main reason for the landslide was TDK and Batman being the latest craze.

I'm going with Superman as he has always been a favourite of mine from childhood,I hated Batman as a child because of the awful TV show. I l am big fan of Batman now but still hate that 60's tv show.
Also the flash was a great tv show, it's a shame not many people watched it.
