I hope with the release date set that it doesn't affect the box office. When the DVD date is announced, box office business usually tails off. I'd like to see it beat TITANIC.

Yeah either way though based on the average theater to DVD release date. This should be out by X-mas. December seems right.

I know, why do they announce this stuff? Just keep it quiet until two weeks out or something. Once people know it's only three months away, they'll skip that 14th showing.

I wish they'd just run a buttload of ads one week urging everyone to go one last time so it can beat Titanic. And say it just like that. I bet it would work. So many people would love to see Titanic knocked off its perch.

TDK should cross the 500 million mark after this weekend. After that my guess is weekend takes of 4, 3, 2, 1 and weekday takes about the same for each corresponding week. My guess is TDK will top out around 520 million domestically.
